Adam was called to the bar in 2005 and articled at Cox Hanson (now Cox & Palmer) before returning home to practice. He joined MacDonald Boudrot Doucet in Port Hawkesbury in 2005, becoming a partner in 2007. That firm eventually grew to 10 lawyers in 6 locations.
Adam’s areas of practice include commercial, personal injury and insurance litigation, criminal defense, municipal law, real estate, and estate planning.
Adam is also heavily involved in his community. He is the current President of the Strait Area Barristers Society, an executive board member with Engage Nova Scotia, President of the Strait Pirates junior hockey team, President of the ROC Society Foundation, Past President of the Strait Area Chamber of Commerce and former Executive Board member of the Mulgrave Road Theatre. He was formerly a national caliber fastpitch softball pitcher and is a current amateur triathlete, hockey and tennis player.
