Joel Sellers
Joel Sellers leads our Real Estate Group. His expertise lies in finding solutions to the seemingly unsolvable problems that too frequently arise when dealing with real estate. He also acts as trusted advisor and problem solver for both small business and public agencies that seek solutions to complicated legal problems. He is a legal generalist in the finest sense of that translation. He moves smoothly from real estate advisor to business advisor to courtroom defender of his client's best interests.

Joel Sellers has been practising for more than a decade. Graduating as Class Valedictorian from St. Mary’s University in 1993, Joel obtained his law degree from UNB Law School in 1997. His legal attributes were recognized by his peers when he was elected to the National Council of the Canadian Bar Association. His extensive volunteer work in his community earned him an award of the Commonwealth Service Medal. Joel is a Past President of the New Glasgow Dragon Boat Society and serves in an executive position on the deCoste Entertainment Centre Society and as a Commissionaire on the Scotia Rink Commission.
When Joel is not serving his legal clients or his community, he can usually be found on either the high seas of the Northumberland Strait or the deep woods of rural Nova Scotia. He has a passion for marine history and is a walking encyclopedia of maritime naval traditions.
