Donn Fraser
Donn Fraser is a recent addition to Mac, Mac & Mac’s Litigation Group. Knowing that no one likes finding themselves in a legal dispute, Donn recognizes that clients receive comfort in seeing immediate response to their situation and efficient development of a plan of action.
Donn spent the last 6 years doing litigation work at a large Halifax law firm where his practice included commercial litigation, construction disputes, insurance advice, general contract and property related disputes, environmental issues, bankruptcy matters, and tax litigation. He has also acted as a Municipal and Crown prosecutor regarding municipal and provincial offences and has practiced municipal law while working for the Halifax Regional Municipality.
Donn has represented clients on matters before the Small Claims Court of Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Provincial Court, the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, and the Tax Court of Canada.
Donn graduated from UNB Law School in 2003 after first obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree from Acadia University. Donn has been active within the Construction Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association, Nova Scotia Branch and has also lectured at Dalhousie University Law School on Civil Trial Practice. Donn is yet another member of Mac, Mac & Mac who is a native Pictonian who is glad to have returned home.
