Whether providing legal services in a corporate commercial matter, a real estate matter or an estate planning matter, clients appreciate that Heather takes the time to understand their needs and concerns. She implements plans that help her clients achieve their goals in an efficient and effective manner, whether that goal is the purchase of a business, a corporate reorganization, financing of a business or estate and succession planning. Heather also regularly assists clients in the fishing industry with buying, selling, restructuring and financing of fishing enterprises.
Heather’s legal training follows the age old principle that a good lawyer is one who is versatile in all areas. Heather joined Mac, Mac & Mac’s Corporate Commercial Group in 2010, but she established the foundation of her legal career providing services to clients in matters ranging from real estate to family law to wills and estates to business issues.
Heather received her law degree in 2002 from UNB Law School and her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Memorial University in 1999. She has been a member of the Nova Scotia Barrister’s Society and the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador since 2003. She is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Pictou County Barrister’s Society.
Following in the Mac Mac & Mac tradition of community service, Heather volunteers her time as a Board member of the Aberdeen Health Foundation Society.
